10 Teams, 70 Individuals Earn ITA Academic Honors

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the list of All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes and a total of 70 Northwest Conference men’s and women’s tennis student-athletes were recognized by the association, along with 10 conference teams.

On the men’s side, George Fox, Lewis & Clark, Pacific (Ore.), Whitman, and Whitworth earned the All-Academic Team Award for having a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or higher. George Fox, Lewis & Clark, Pacific (Ore.), Whitman, and Whitworth were honored on the women’s side. 

In order to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
