Women’s Tennis - Student-Athlete of the Week
Bailey Bell I Whitman | SO | Philomath, Ore. | Philomath
Bell had a stellar spring break trip against four nationally ranked teams. She went 2-2 in doubles and pushed her 15th-ranked Washington and Lee opponent to a 3rd set super tiebreaker. She also won singles singles and doubles vs #25 Christopher Newport and against #35 Haverford, where she won the clinching singles match in three sets.
Men’s Tennis - Student-Athlete of the Week
Hanri Luo I Whitman | JR | Mercer Island, Wash. | Mercer Island High School
Luo won #3 doubles and #6 singles against No. 29 Caltech. The junior won #5 singles against No. 40 Occidental. Overall he posted a 7-3 combined singles and doubles record over this past week, against a handful of nationally ranked opponents.
