HILLSBORO, ORE.- George Fox has been selected as the #1 seed entering the 2023 Men’s Track & Field season, as voted on by NWC head coaches. This comes after their championship title in the 2022 season. George Fox received 64 points and 8 first-place votes followed by Pacific Lutheran with 54 points. Whitworth received 52 points and 1 first-place vote for third.
Linfield placed fourth with 40 points, followed by Pacific with 34 points. Lewis & Clark received 27 points for sixth. Willamette (25), Puget Sound (20), and Whitman (8) round out the polls.
The outdoor season will begin for most the weekend of March 5th. The 2023 NWC Championship will take place April 22-23rd at the University of Puget Sound.
