Men’s Track Student-Athlete of the Week
Henry Tierney I Pacific University (Ore.)| FR | Beaverton, OR| Valley Catholic
Henry Tierney had a successful weekend in the 800m for the Boxers at Lewis & Clark. Tierney ran the 800m on Saturday to a time of 1:52.42 to win the 800. With this time, he is now first in the NWC standings and first in the NCAA DIII standings for the 800m.
Men’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week
Levi Gibson I George Fox University| SR | Fort Shaw, Mont. | Fairfield
Gibson set the stage at the Rich Allen Classic in Newberg with a personal-best vault mark of 4.75m, beating out competitors from Fox, Linfield, and Willamette. The mark is good for a top 10 mark in George Fox history, and placed him at the top in the nation in Division III.
