Women’s Cross Country - Student-Athlete of the Week
Breanna Schmitt I George Fox | 5th | Newberg, Ore. | Newberg
Schmitt was the top finisher at the “Running of the Cows” National Preview in Minnesota, helping the Bruin women finish 13th in a stacked field full of 17 nationally-ranked squads. The fifth-year senior placed ninth among 324 competitors with a 6k time of 21:38.4.
Men’s Cross Country - Student-Athlete of the Week
Thomas Bernadicou I Willamette | SO | Menlo Park, Calif. | Menlo Atherto
Bernadicou placed 15th out of 288 finishers in the Men's 8000 meters at the 51st Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational. He was the top NCAA DIII runner with a time of 24:34.4, narrowly missing the All-Time Willamette Top Ten List for that distance.
