Whitman continued its dominant run in Northwest Conference (NWC) women’s tennis, capturing its fourth consecutive regular season title in 2026. The Blues finished unbeaten in conference play at 14-0 and posted a 16-5 overall record, earning the No. 1 seed and the right to host the NWC Women’s Tennis Tournament.
Whitworth, Lewis & Clark, and George Fox will join Whitman in the four-team field. Whitworth secured the No. 2 seed with a 12-2 conference mark, while Lewis & Clark claimed the No. 3 spot at 9-5. George Fox enters as the No. 4 seed after finishing 8-6 in league play.
The NWC Women’s Tennis Tournament is scheduled for April 18–19 at Whitman College. Semifinal action begins Saturday, April 18, with top-seeded Whitman taking on No. 4 George Fox no earlier than 1 p.m. In the second semifinal, No. 2 Whitworth will face No. 3 Lewis & Clark no earlier than 4 p.m.
The championship match will be played Sunday, April 19 at 12 p.m., as the semifinal winners meet for the conference title. The tournament champion will receive the NWC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
