Nana Vang I Whitman | SO | Eden Prairie, MN. | The Blake School
Vang won titles in singles and doubles this past weekend at the ITA Fall Northwest Regional Championship. Vang was slated to face Whitman teammate Renata Rosell in the final after rallying from a set down in the semifinals. Rosell, who rallied from a set down in the semifinals as well, powered through an injury during the the match but was unable to compete against Vang for the title. Vang proceeded to win her second crown of the tournament in doubles as teammate Sascha Wells and sophomore Vang took down Pacific’s Chloe Takahashi and Stella Nishimura 6-4, 7-6 (3).
