NEWBERG, Ore. – The 2025 Northwest Conference Women’s Lacrosse Tournament is set to take place May 2 and 4 at the Austin Sports Complex in Newberg, Oregon. With an undefeated conference season, George Fox earned the No. 1 seed and tournament hosting rights for the third consecutive year.
The winner of the NWC Tournament will be named the 2025 NWC Women’s Lacrosse Tournament Champion and receive the conference’s automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
George Fox enters the postseason with a perfect 8-0 NWC record (12-4 overall). The Bruins are led by Lana Davis and Ava Bluhm—Davis paces the team with 47 goals and 24 assists, while Bluhm has 44 goals and 50 draw controls on the year. Morgan Maxfield adds playmaking support with 25 assists, while goalkeeper Mayh Pack anchors the defense with 110 saves and a .418 save percentage. The Bruins have outscored opponents by an average of 6.5 goals per game and have forced 220 turnovers on the season.
The second-seeded Whitman Blues finished the regular season 7-1 in NWC play (12-4 overall) and boast the top scoring margin in the conference (+7.1). Sarah Hawkins leads the way with 53 goals and 43 assists, totaling 96 points—second-most in the conference. Joy Olson-Uderitz contributes defensively with 28 caused turnovers and 56 ground balls, while goalkeeper Renn Novak leads the NWC in saves (105) and save percentage (.455). Whitman will look to advance to its first-ever NWC championship game after back-to-back semifinal exits.
Willamette earned the No. 3 seed with a 6-2 conference record (9-6 overall). The Bearcats are led by Claire Kisielnicki, the NWC’s top goal scorer with 66 goals on the season. Lily Bachiochi adds all-around production with 53 goals, a conference-best 45 assists, and 98 total points. She is Willamette’s all-time leader in both assists and points. Olivia Austin has made 80 saves in goal and holds a .388 save percentage. Willamette will aim to return to the championship game after back-to-back runner-up finishes.
Linfield rounds out the tournament field as the No. 4 seed, finishing 4-4 in NWC play (8-7 overall). The Wildcats make their first-ever NWC Tournament appearance after winning a three-way tiebreaker. Gabby Crist leads Linfield in goals (59), points (78), and caused turnovers (33), and has posted two 10-goal performances this season. Senior Maya Wright has added 32 goals and leads the team in draw controls (4.2 per game). Tenley Hodge has recorded 82 saves in goal and a .387 save percentage.
