The Whitman Blues have been voted the Northwest Conference frontrunner for the 2025 women’s tennis season, as voted on by NWC head coaches. The Blues achieved a perfect 7-0 conference record in the 2024 season, securing their second consecutive NWC title, before winning the 2024 NWC Women’s Tennis Tournament. Whitman earned 49 points and 7 first place votes to take the top spot. Pacific (Ore.) ranks second in the poll with 39 points and one first place vote.
George Fox earned 38 points for third, followed by Whitworth with 32 points. Lewis & Clark earned 27 points for fifth while Linfield landed in sixth with 19 points. Puget Sound (11 pts) and Willamette (9 pts) round out the preseason poll.
The NWC Tournament will take place April 19-20th at the #1 seed.
