Women’s Soccer- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Emma Ellerd I F I Whitworth | SO | Pasco, Wash. | Chiawana
Ellerd led Whitworth to a pair of road wins at Willamette and Lewis & Clark by scoring two goals and adding an assist. She scored the match's first goal, then assisted on the second, in a 3-2 win at Willamette on Saturday. She scored a goal that gave the Pirates a 2-1 lead in an eventual 3-2 win at L&C on Sunday.
Women’s Soccer- Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Seanee Still I GK I Whitman | JR | Pocatello, Idaho | Pocatello High School
Still played the second half of both Whitman road wins on the weekend. She kept a necessary clean sheet in a 1-0 win by the Blues on Saturday. Sunday, after giving up a goal early in the second half, Still recorded seven saves and kept Willamette out of the back of the net to allow for a gamewinning goal with 5 minutes to play to help her team win 2-1.
