The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Soccer for the week of October 22nd through October 28th.
Women’s Soccer- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Hannah Cecil I F I Pacific Lutheran | SR | Bothell, Wash. | Bothell
Cecil assisted on the game winning goal and added an insurance goal later in a 3-1 win over Lewis & Clark to keep the Lutes solidly atop the conference standings. Cecil currently leads the NWC in both goals (10) and points (23).
Women’s Soccer- Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Mac Lembcke I D I Whitworth | JR | Moses Lake, Wash. | Moses Lake
Lembcke played 173 minutes as a central defender, leading Whitworth to a pair of 1-0 wins at Whitman and over Linfield at home. Even though Whitman had eight shots on goal in the match, only two came in attack from forwards. The rest were from distance or off set pieces. In the win over Linfield, the Wildcats were unable to take a shot in the first half and finished with only two shots on-goal all match.
