Women’s Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week
Maggie Phillips | George Fox | JR | F | Central Point, OR | Abeka Academy
Maggie has made an immediate impact for the Bruins. Maggie had 4 shots on goal against Lewis and Clark, attacking on 2 to score for the 4-0 win. She played 127 minutes in the two games this week to help lead the Bruins to a 2-0 opening week of NWC conference.
Women’s Soccer Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week
Ella Merte | Pacific Lutheran | SO | D | Auburn, WA | Auburn Mountain View High School
Played all 180 minutes for the Lutes, anchoring a defensive unit that allowed only five shots on goal in a pair of shutout wins, including just two shots on goal.
