Women’s Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week
Celeste Schreifels | Lewis & Clark | SO | F | Newbury Park, CA | Agoura High School
Celeste Schreifels scored all three goals in Lewis & Clark's back-to-back shutout wins last weekend. The NWC points leader scored two goals in a 2-0 win on Saturday against then 5-2-1 Whitworth before a 1-0 win against Whitman on Sunday. The latter was in the final 10 minutes of the match.
Women’s Soccer Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week
Kimber Thomas | Pacific Lutheran | SR | D/M | Snohomish, WA | Glacier View High School
Was part of a defensive unit that posted two road shutouts over the weekend, helping the Lutes to their first 10-0 start since the 1988 season that culminated with an NAIA National Title. Thomas played all 90 minutes in Saturday's win over Pacific, limiting the Boxers to just two total shots while limiting Willamette to just two shots on Sunday. The Lute defense has allowed just one goal in six NWC matches, including a current streak of 304 minutes without allowing a goal.
