Women’s Soccer- Offense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Lize Rendon I M I Linfield | SR | Portland, Ore. | Centennial
Rendon continued her offensive dominance for a second-straight week, scoring two goals for Linfield in a 3-0 win at Pacific on Friday. The senior midfielder remains in second in the Northwest Conference in goals (4), and points (9). She maintains a perfect 1.000 shots-on-goal percentage for the season. The senior has scored her way into a prominent role in the Wildcat starting lineup that remains undefeated for the season through six games.
Women’s Soccer- Defense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Marisa Lam I GK I George Fox | FR | Honolulu, Hawaii | Moanalua
In her first two career full games played, goalkeeper Lam proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Lam had two clean sheets against two conference opponents, helping the Bruins finish the week as the only NWC team to not allow a goal. The freshman had seven saves in George Fox's tie against Willamette, including two diving saves that helped keep the Bearcats off the board. Against Pacific, Lam had five saves to earn her second straight shutout.
