Women’s Tennis - Student-Athlete of the Week
Gracie Smyley I Whitworth | SR | Whitefish, Mont. | Whitefish
Smyley went 4-0 this weekend playing in the No. 1 singles and doubles positions. In doubles, she helped defeat the Linfield top pair 6-3 and the George Fox top pair 6-0. She won both of her singles matches in two sets, defeating her opponent 6-4, 6-2 on Saturday against Linfield and 6-4, 6-4 on Sunday against George Fox.
Men’s Tennis - Student-Athlete of the Week
Zach Moore I George Fox | SO | Turner, Ore. | Cascade
Moore had a fantastic weekend against the Whits, winning all four of his matches to finish perfect on the weekend. He dominated Whitman and Whitworth's No. 2 doubles teams (with Jackson Whittaker) a combined 12-1 this weekend, and had singles wins against No. 17 in the region Cameron Yang (6-4, 6-4) and Ryan Ashley (6-4, 6-2).
