The Teams:

Whitman Blues (20-3 overall, 13-1 NWC)
The top seed and host school, Whitman, comes into the weekend as the reigning regular season and tournament champion for the second consecutive year. The Blues suffered just one conference loss and closed out the schedule in strong fashion to lock up hosting duties. Junior Teleya Blunt anchors the team at the No. 1 singles position with a 13-6 mark, while senior Jha Ilina holds a 14-3 record in the No. 2 slot. Together, they also headline the Blues' doubles lineup. Whitman claimed both regular season meetings over Whitworth by a combined score of 12-2.

Pacific (Ore.) Boxers (13-5 overall, 11-3 NWC)
Earning the No. 2 seed via a tiebreaker over George Fox, Pacific is led by 2024 NWC Player of the Year Cassidy Binder, who enters the tournament with an unblemished singles record. Freshman Chloe Takahashi fills the No. 2 singles role and teams with Binder in the Boxers' top doubles pairing. Pacific split their season series with George Fox and earned two victories over Whitworth by a combined margin of 11-3. Last year, the Boxers reached the tournament final before falling to Whitman.

George Fox Bruins (15-7 overall, 11-3 NWC)
As the No. 3 seed, the Bruins will meet Pacific in a semifinal rematch of last season’s tightly contested 5-4 loss. Sophomore Riley Bobkiewicz, the 2024 NWC Rookie of the Year, leads the lineup at No. 1 singles and regularly partners with Shanah Denham in doubles. Kalli Wiker plays key roles in both singles and doubles for George Fox. The Bruins split their season series with Pacific and posted two wins over Whitworth in convincing fashion.

Whitworth Pirates (10-9 overall, 7-7 NWC)
Rounding out the field, the fourth-seeded Pirates are making their fourth tournament appearance in five years. Whitworth just edged into the postseason following a 7-0 sweep of Puget Sound in the final regular season match. The team is led by Gracie Smyley with 13 singles victories, supported by solid performances from Faith Kert and Paige Oliver in the middle of the lineup.

The tournament champion will earn the Northwest Conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, taking place May 20–27 in Claremont, California.
