Women’s Tennis - Student-Athlete of the Week
Cassidy Binder I Pacific | SR | Beaverton, Ore. | Beaverton
Binder remained undefeated at 1 singles and doubles, defeating the top players from Linfield and George Fox over the weekend. At 1 singles, Binder won 6-0, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-2.
Men’s Tennis - Student-Athlete of the Week
Lars Schmassmann I George Fox | GR | Basel, Switzerland | WMS Reinach
Schmassmann went a perfect 4-0 this weekend to help the Bruins complete the weekend sweep over Willamette and Pacific. He won 6-3 in both of his No. 1 doubles matches, before defeating AJ Avansino of Willamette 6-0, 6-2 on Saturday and Joshua Dela Cruz from Pacific 6-0, 6-1 on Sunday. Both of these dominant wins came in the No. 1 singles spot, as the Bruins went 14-0 on the weekend.
