Hillsboro, Ore. - George Fox has been selected as the Northwest Conference frontrunner for the 2024 men’s tennis season, as voted on by NWC head coaches. The three time defending NWC champions received 49 points and 7 first place votes. George Fox finished the 2023 season in first place with an 8-0 conference record. Whitman ranks second in the poll with 42 points and 1 first place finish.
Lewis & Clark received 34 points for 3rd, followed closely by Pacific with 33 points. Linfield ranked fifth with 23 points, just ahead of Whitworth with 21 points. Puget Sound (15) and Willamette (7) round out the poll.
Most teams return to play the weekend of February 10th. The NWC Tournament will take place April 20-21st at the #1 seed.
