The Whitman College Blues, reigning champions of Northwest Conference (NWC) women’s swimming, are predicted to continue their dominance in the upcoming 2024-25 season, according to the preseason coaches poll. Whitman, which clinched its sixth conference title in 2023-24, leads the poll with 62 points and six first-place votes from NWC coaches, positioning them as favorites to capture their seventh title.
Whitworth University secured the second spot with 52 points and two first-place votes, closely following Whitman. Linfield ranked third with 50 points, earning one first-place vote, while Puget Sound was close behind with 47 points in fourth. Rounding out the poll, Pacific Lutheran received 37 points in fifth place, followed by Willamette with 30 points, George Fox with 23 points, Lewis & Clark with 15 points, and Pacific with 8 points.
The NWC Women’s Swimming Championship meet will take place February 13-16, 2025, at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington. This year, Pacific Lutheran University will host the event, which is anticipated to showcase the season's top talent and a competitive field vying for the conference title.
