Women’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week
Caren Uribe I Lewis & Clark College | SO | Claremont, Calif. | Claremont
Uribe went 2-0 to lead Lewis & Clark College women's tennis to a comeback win over host University of Puget Sound. Uribe dropped just four total games across doubles and singles action. In doubles, she teamed up with Sophomore Kacie Lau for an 8-2 win at third doubles. She tacked on a 6-1, 6-1 dominating victory at number two singles.
Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week
Kristian Peev I Lewis & Clark College | SR | Beaverton, Ore. I Valley Catholic
Peev went 2-0 to lead Lewis & Clark College men's tennis past the University of Puget Sound. The senior dropped just four games across number one doubles and singles action. In doubles, he paired with freshman Wade McDermott for an 8-2 win. He tacked on a 6-1, 6-1 win at number one singles. Peev has now won five-straight matches in both singles and doubles and leads Lewis & Clark with 10 singles wins, 10 doubles wins and 20 overall victories.
