Women’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week
Elizabeth Cook I George Fox University | Lake Oswego, Ore.| Lake Oswego
Cook picked up a doubles win over Pacific on Saturday with partner Emily McDonald, winning the match, 8-3. Then, in her first non-tournament collegiate singles match on Sunday, the freshman took down a Division I opponent in Shuanghui Huang of Seattle. Cook rallied from a deficit to win the singles #6 match 3-6, 6-1, 10-5, becoming the first Bruin to ever earn a point against Seattle.
Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week
Camden Camacho I George Fox University| SR | Chalan Pago Ordot, Guam | Father Duenas Memorial
Camacho picked up a win over Division I opponent Andrin Zuellig of Portland State on Saturday in his #6 singles match. Camacho lost the first set but stormed back to win 5-7, 6-3, 10-8, picking up the Bruins' lone point against the DI school.
