Women’s Swimming- Student-Athlete of the Week
Riley Parker I George Fox | SO | Bonney Lake, Wash. | Bonney Lake
Parker delivered outstanding performances during her debut collegiate swim meets this weekend. She played a pivotal role in her team's success at the Relays Meet, where they secured first place in the breaststroke relay and a respectable third place in the 100 medley relay. In the NWC Sprint Meet, Parker finished in second-place in the individual medley, coming incredibly close to the race winner with a mere one one-hundredth of a second difference. She continued to excel in the breaststroke and 50 yard butterfly placing second after narrowly missing out on victory. Parker finally capped the day off with a third place finish in the 50 yard freestyle. Parker's placements were the highest the Bruins have ever had individually at the Sprint Meet.
