HILLSBORO, Ore. – George Fox has been selected as the Northwest Conference frontrunner for the 2022 season, as voted on by conference head coaches. The Bruins earned 63 points and seven first-place votes. Pacific (Ore.) ranks second in the poll with 58 points and two first-place votes.
Whitman received 50 points for third, while Lewis & Clark takes the fourth spot on the list with 42 points. Whitworth received 34 points to rank them fifth and Linfield placed sixth with 28 points. Puget Sound (24 pts), Pacific Lutheran (17 pts), and Willamette (8 pts) round out the poll.
The regular season will begin for most NWC teams Friday, February 11th, with conference play kicking off on Saturday, March 5th.
