Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Rowan Cusack| Linfield University| SO | G |Auburn, Wa.| Bellarmine Prep
Rowan Cusack scored a career-high 20 points to lead Linfield to a 64-55 win over Warner Pacific in the Wildcats' lone game of the week. She connected on 7 of 12 from the field and 4 of 8 from three-point range while making both of her shots from the free throw line. Cusack added three rebounds, four assists and a steal to her performance.
Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Jack Henderson | Lewis & Clark College| SR | G | Albuquerque, N.M. | Sandia Prep
Henderson averaged 28.5 points and nine rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Pioneers. He posted his first double-double of the season on Monday and then recorded new career-highs in points and made 3-pointers on Tuesday. For the week, Henderson shot 54.3 percent (19-35) and 58.3 percent (14-24) from distance. In Monday's win over Northwest Indian College, the senior posted his first double-double of the year with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He came back on Tuesday and posted career-high 35 points on nine made 3-pointers in a win over the Eagles.
