Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Olivia Mayer| Whitworth University| JR |F |Spokane, WA| Gonzaga Prep
Mayer averaged 22.5 points and 15 rebounds in two games over the weekend at Northwest University. She had 24 points, 15 rebounds and three assists against the host Eagles on Friday. She followed with 21 points and 15 rebounds in a win over Haskell Indian Nations. She made 50% of her field goals and all 16 of her free throws.
Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Brenden Patrick| Lewis & Clark | SR | G| Oakland, CA| Bishop O’Dowd
Patrick averaged 27 points per game on 56.8 shooting and tacked on five assists and 4.5 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Pioneers. In Saturday's win over Portland Bible College, Patrick scored a career-high 30 points and tied the program record for steals in a single-game with eight in just 26 minutes of action. He tacked on 24 points and a season-high six assists in a loss to NAIA Warner Pacific on Tuesday.
