Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Brilie Kovaloff | Pacific | JR | G | Honolulu, HI | Mid-Pacific Institute
Brilie Kovaloff enjoyed a career night with 29 points to lead all scorers. The Honolulu, Hawaii native was the only Boxer to finish in double-digit scoring. She shot over 50% from the floor (10-19), hit four three-pointers (4-9), and was perfect from the free throw line (5-5) to lead Pacific offensively. Kovaloff also matched a team high with six rebounds in the contest while dishing out six assists.
Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Dempsey Roggenbuck | Linfield | GR | G | Marin County, CA | Prolific Prep
Roggenbuck dropped a season-high 34 points in the Wildcats' 77-74 win over Warner Pacific on Dec. 28. He played 35 minutes, connecting on 12 of 20 from the field, 4 of 7 from three-point range and 6 of 8 from the free throw line. He also finished with four rebounds, an assist and a block.
