HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in basketball for the week of November 15th to November 21st.
Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Camy Aguinaldo | Pacific | SR | G | Honolulu, HI| Iolani School
Camy Aguinaldo scored a season-high 28 points to lead Pacific to an 81-62 victory over Colorado College. The senior nearly recorded a triple-double with nine assists and seven rebounds and also shot over 50% from the field (10-19). Aguinaldo nearly led the Boxers all the way back from a 15-point deficit against a solid Trinity (Tex.) team. She scored 23 points and pulled down eight rebounds in the contest.
Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
Paul Johnson | Puget Sound | SO | G | West Seattle, WA | O'Dea High School
Johnson willed the Loggers to victory over Redlands, scoring 20 of his 27 points in the second half... including 18 points in the game's final 10 minutes! He shot 7-for-10 from 3-point range in the game... Overall for the weekend, Johnson averaged 23 points and made 9 total 3-pointers.
