Men’s Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week
Beckett Arthur | Whitworth | FR | F | Missoula, MT | Hellgate High School
Beckett scored three goals in a pair of Pirate victories. He scored the second goal of a 2-0 win over Pacific and two goals in a 4-1 win over George Fox. He leads the NWC in goals scored this season.
Men’s Soccer Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week
Alex White | Pacific Lutheran | JR | D | Henderson, NV | Coronado
Anchored a defensive backline that posted a pair of road shutouts on the weekend to stay atop the NWC standings. White and the Lute D have now gone 572 minutes without allowing a goal, a streak that includes six shutouts in NWC play. PLU has yet to allow a goal to an NWC opponent. On Saturday, the Lutes limited Linfield to just four total shots and one on-goal while limiting second place Willamette to four shots on goal. White additionally tallied an assist on Saturday's game-winning goal at Linfield.
