WEEK OF APR. 5-11
Offensive: Madison Burch, George Fox (Jr., F)
Burch (Manteca, Calif.) scored the Bruins' game-winner against Willamette to cap their season with their fifth consecutive shutout win.
Defensive: Annalisa Klein, George Fox (Sr., GK)
Klein (Spanaway, Wash.) capped her career as a Bruin with her fifth straight shutout of the season, making two saves against the Bearcats in a 1-0 win to keep the clean sheet. The season-ending shutout puts the Bruins in second by winning percentage and also puts Klein fifth all-time in shutouts at Fox.
WEEK OF MAR. 29-APR. 4
Offensive: Sydney Wilson, Willamette (Jr., M)
Wilson (Olympia, Wash.) scored a total of 3 goals in Willamette's 4-3 and 3-1 wins over Lewis & Clark during the week. She earned 1 goal in the mid-week 4-3 victory and scored 2 goals in the 3-1 win on Saturday. She took 6 shots during the week and placed 4 shots on goal.
Defensive: Grasiela Quevedo-Ramos, Willamette (Sr., GK)
Quevedo-Ramos played all 180 minutes as Willamette won two games against Lewis & Clark, 4-3 and 3-1. She earned 6 saves including a couple of impressive saves. She improved to 3-3 on the season as Willamette moved to 3-4.
WEEK OF MAR. 22-28
Offensive: Jadyn Baumgartner, Whitworth (Sr., M)
Baumgartner (Boise, Idaho) scored with nine seconds left in the second half to secure the 1-0 win in Whitworth's final game of the season. The senior leads the conference with five goals, which includes three game-winning shots.
Defensive: Jalissa Somers, Linfield (Jr., D)
Somers (Bellingham, Wash.) has been the part of the Linfield defensive unit that allowed just two shots on goal this past week to Lewis & Clark and has surrendered only four goals all season. On Sunday, Somers also scored a goal in Linfield's win over Lewis & Clark.
WEEK OF MAR. 15-21
Offensive: Laney Green, Linfield (So., F)
In an 11-minute span, Green (Redding, Calif.) scored three goals to beat the Willamette Bearcats on Sunday. In two matches against the Bearcats, she was a perfect 3 for 3 in shot attempts. She is tied for fourth in the conference with three goals and also tied for fourth with eight points. Her .600 shooting percentage is best among all NWC student-athletes with more than five shots.
Defensive: Sophia Young, Lewis & Clark (Fr., GK)
Young (Burlingame, Calif.), a freshman, was the only NWC goalkeeper to have consecutive shutouts last weekend as the Pios went undefeated. Playing a total of 200 minutes, she made no fewer than four saves in each game. On Sunday, all five saves, a career high, occurred in the second half or overtime, three of which were in the final 12 minutes of regulation. Young made one save in the 99th minute. She is now fifth in the NWC in total saves.
WEEK OF MAR. 8-14
Offensive: Emma Blackburn, Willamette (Jr., F)
Blackburn (Los Altos, Calif.) assisted on the game's first goal and scored Willamette's other two goals in a 3-1 win at Pacific on Sunday, March 14. Her assist was at 12:13 and her goals were earned at 21:43 and 61:05. Blackburn's second goal gave WU a 3-1 lead.
Defensive: Kimber Thomas, Pacific Lutheran (Jr.)
Thomas (Snohomish, Wash.) anchored a backline that pitched a pair of shutouts over the weekend, playing all 180 minutes. The junior limited the Pirates to just four shots on goal in Saturday's 1-0 win while allowing just two total shots and none on net in Sunday's 1-0 win. PLU was the only NWC team to post two shutouts over the weekend.
WEEK OF MAR. 1-7
Offensive: Jadyn Baumgartner, Whitworth (Sr., M)
Baumgartner scored two goals in a 2-1 overtime win over Puget Sound. The senior sent in the first goal in the 25th minute and converted a penalty kick two and a half minutes in overtime to seal the victory.
Defensive: Madi Reimer, Linfield (Sr., GK)
Reimer (Sherwood, Ore.) made three saves in a pair of 1-0 wins over Pacific this week for Linfield. She is the conference leader in fewest goals allowed (0) and save percentage (1.000).
WEEK OF FEB. 22-28
Offensive: Radhika Webster Schultz, Puget Sound (So., M)
Webster Schultz (Kaneohe, Hawaii) scored the game-winning goal in the 53rd minute in the Loggers' first matchup against Whitman over the weekend. The next game she scored the insurance goal in the 47th minute, leading her team to a Blues sweep.
Defensive: Cassidy Crosswhite, Pacific Lutheran (Sr., GK)
Crosswhite (Spokane, Wash.) pitched a shutout in her season debut, helping the Lutes post a 2-0 road win over Whitworth.
WEEK OF FEB. 1-7
Offensive: Tess Carden, Puget Sound (Jr., M)
Carden (Seattle, Wash.) assisted on the the Loggers' only in the 81st minute to beat Pacific Lutheran 1-0. The next day, in overtime, the junior scored the game-winning goal from approximately 30 yards out, burying the game-winner under the crossbar.
Defensive: Chaylea Tome, Puget Sound (So., GK)
On the weekend, Tome made six saves on the weekend, shutting out cross-town rival Pacific Lutheran twice. The sophomore recorded four saves on Saturday, and two on Sunday.
