WEEK OF NOV. 4-10
Offensive: Michayla Sponsel, Linfield (Jr., F)

Sponsel (Portland, Ore.) headed in the game-winning goal in Linfield's 2-1 win over Pacific Lutheran, handing the Northwest Conference champions only their second loss of the regular season and first defeat in conference play.

Defensive: Alyssa Bakkensen, Linfield (So., GK)
In 200 minutes played this past week, Bakkensen (Scappoose, Ore.) allowed just one goal and made six saves. The Wildcats went 1-0-1 in the two games, including handing the NCAA Tournament Qualifier Pacific Lutheran, its only loss in conference play.

WEEK OF OCT. 28-NOV. 3
Offensive: Julia Markmann, Lewis & Clark (Fr., F)

Markmann's (Sønderborg, Denmark) overtime winner gave the Pioneers their fourth win in their last five matches. In the Pioneers win over Willamette, Markmann assisted on both of Lewis & Clark's goals. Markmann led the team in shots in both games.

Defensive: Madi Pastores, Lewis & Clark (Fr., D)
Led by Pastores (Sherwood, Ore.), the Pioneers swept the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the conference with Wednesday's win over Willamette. Outside of Willamette and PLU, Lewis & Clark was the only team in NWC play this season to hold Puget Sound to a sub-.100 shot (SH%) percentage with only three of the Loggers' 15 shots last Saturday in frame including the only goal allowed by the Pioneers in a 2-1 victory. On Wednesday, the Pios beat Willamette and held the Bearcats to seven shots, their second-lowest in all of NWC play. 

WEEK OF OCT. 21-27
Offensive: Ceann Romanaggi, Puget Sound (Sr., M)

Romanaggi (Portland, Ore.) scored the first two goals of the season, scoring one in the Loggers' 5-0 win over Linfield, and one in a 1-1 tie with Willamette. She recorded a 1.000 shot on goal percentage on the weekend.

Defensive: Brianna Hunting, Pacific Lutheran (Sr., D)
Hunting (Kennewick, Wash.) helped the Lutes collect a pair of shutout wins while scoring a goal and netting two assists over the weekend. The Lutes have now won since matches in a row.

WEEK OF OCT. 14-20
Offensive: Sydney Kuehn, Linfield (Sr., F)
Kuehn (Duvall, Wash.) had a goal and an assist in last Wednesday’s win over Pacific (Ore.). The senior leads the NWC in goals and is tied for first in points. The Wildcats went 2-0 over the weekend with a 3-2 win over the Boxers, and a 1-0 shutout against Willamette.

Defensive: Abby Prager, Lewis & Clark (So., GK)
Prager (San Diego, Calif.) saved 11 shots and led the Pioneers to an undefeated weekend. The sophomore made the most saves of any goalkeeper in the Northwest Conference from a team that didn't lose this weekend. The matches were just her second-ever back-to-back starts and first consecutive, full-time shutouts of her career.

WEEK OF OCT. 7-13
Offensive:
Leah Magee, Pacific Lutheran (Sr.)
Magee (Olympia, Wash.) recorded the game-winning goal against send-place Puget Sound. The senior had seven shots on goal on the Lutes’ undefeated weekend to record a .700 shots on goal percentage.

Defensive: Brooke Jones, George Fox (So., GK)
Jones (Lafayette, Ore.) notched two shutouts on the road this weekend, averaging better than six saves per match. Jones made a season-high nine saves on Sunday at Linfield. The sophomore keeper is among the top two in the NWC this season in goals against, save percentage, and goals against average.

WEEK OF SEPT. 30-OCT. 6
Offensive: Gabbie Berg, Puget Sound (Sr., F)

Berg recorded an assist in a 2-0 win over Lewis & Clark, then scored the only two goals for the Loggers against George Fox the following day to end the weekend with five points. The senior recorded a 1.000 shot on goal percentage on the weekend.

Defensive: Brianna Hunting, Pacific Lutheran (Sr., D)
Hunting (Kennewick, Wash.) anchored a defense that allowed just five shots on goal all weekend. Through the opening six games of NWC play, the Lutes have allowed just one goal. 

WEEK OF SEPT. 23-29
Offensive: Meghan Michels, Pacific Lutheran (Fr., F)

Michels (Medford, Ore.) scored the game winning goal against L&C on Saturday before collecting a goal and two assists in a 4-0 road win over Pacific. Michels has now scored in four consecutive games and leads the NWC in pints (12) and goals (5).

Defensive: Emma Hunter, Pacific Lutheran (Jr., D)
Hunter (Portland, Ore.) anchored a defensive unit that pitched two road shutouts over the weekend and allowed just four total shots, including just two shots on goal all weekend as the Lutes defeated conference opponents Lewis & Clark and Pacific (Ore.).

WEEK OF SEPT. 16-22
Offensive: Meghan Michels, Pacific Lutheran (Fr., F)

Michels (Medford, Ore.) scored three goals over the weekend, helping the Lutes open NWC play with shutout wins over Whitworth and Whitman.  

Defensive: Brianna Hunting, Pacific Lutheran (Sr., D)
Hunting (Kennewick, Wash.) anchored a defense that pitched a pair of shutouts over the weekend to start NWC play, allowing just three shots on goal and eight total shots over the two games.

WEEK OF SEPT. 9-15
Offensive: Ava Cholakian, Puget Sound (Fr., F)

Cholakian’s (San Mateo, Calif.) first-career goal stood as the game-winner to upset No. 11 Trinity (Tex.).

Defensive: Kylee Roath, Puget Sound (So., D)
The 2018 Freshman of the Year, Roath (Bend, Ore.) anchored a defense that didn’t allow a single shot on goal as the Loggers upset No. 11 Trinity (Tex.).

WEEK OF SEPT. 2-8
Offensive: Madison Topaum, Linfield (Jr., M)

A junior college transfer, Topaum (Gresham, Ore.) has adjusted to the NCAA pace, scoring three goals in two games last week. She leads the NWC in goals and points through games played on September 8. She helped the Wildcats go 1-1 last week, including two goals in a 6-0 win over Northwest Christian.

Defensive: Ashton Huppert, Pacific Lutheran (Jr., GK)
Huppert (Chamdler, Ariz.) collected a shutout in her first start in goal, making five saves as the Lutes overcame Redlands, 1-0.

WEEK OF AUG. 26-SEPT. 1
Offensive: Maggee Hodgdon, George Fox (So., F)

Hodgdon (Newberg, Ore.) scored twice against nationally 15th-ranked Hope College as the Bruins tied the Dutch, 2-2.

Defensive: Isabelle Arends, Whitworth (Jr., GK)
Arends (Monroe, Wash.) played the first half of both matches this weekend and did not allow a goal. She also played the 4:51 of overtime against Hamline to earn the win. She made four total saves with a 0.00 goals-against average.
