Northwest Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Feb. 14-20
MBB Player of the Week: Scott Davis (L&C, So., G, Eugene, OR) earns the award for the third time this season by scoring 51 points and adding seven rebounds and four assists in two games, both road wins.
Honorable Mention: Ryan Boyle (UPS, P) scored 55 points and grabbed 32 boards in three games; Derek Grace (Linfield, P) scored 31 points and added 18 rebounds in two games; Leonard Harmon (Whitman, G) scored 39 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in two games; Jordan Green (George Fox, W) scored 37 points and added nine rebounds and seven assists in two losses; Ryan Hepp (Willamette, PG) scored 18 points (including a 5/5 performance at Linfield) in two games.
Feb. 7-13
Player of the Week: Colin Oriard (L&C, F, C, Corvallis, OR) wins the award for the second straight week after leading the Pioneers to two wins and a clinching of the NWC regular season title. He scored 50 points and grabbed 18 rebounds.
Honorable Mention: Jason Downey (Willamette, P) scored 46 points and added 15 rebounds in two games; Jordan Green (George Fox, W) scored 63 points and added 13 rebounds, 21 assists and 10 steals in three games; Neil Mendez (PLU, F) scored 26 points and grabbed 25 rebounds in two losses; Connelly Eseman (Pacific, G) scored 28 points and had seven assists in two games; Leonard Harmon (Whitman, G) scored 39 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in two games.
Jan. 31-Feb. 6
Player of the Week: Colin Oriard (L&C, Fr., C, Corvallis, OR) led the Pioneers to their 12th and 13th straight victories by scoring 45 points (on 18/27 shooting - 66.7%) and adding seven rebounds, five steals and four assists.
Honorable Mention: Jeremy Vernon (Pacific, G) scored 44 points and added eight assists in three Boxer victories; Derek Grace (Linfield, C) scored 36 points and added 13 rebounds, 7 blocks in two games; Jordan Green (George Fox, W) scored game-high 22 points in loss at PLU; Ryan Nelson (Whitworth, G) made 9/14 three-pointers and scored 33 points in two games; Treven Vander Ploeg (PLU, G) scored 30 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in two Lute wins.
Jan. 24-30
Player of the Week: Scott Davis (Lewis & Clark, So., G, Eugene, OR) wins the award for the second straight week by scoring 48 points in two wins. He scored a career-high 32 points vs. Linfield.
Honorable Mention: Connelly Eseman (Pacific, G) scored 42 points and added 14 assists, 10 rebounds, eight steals and two blocks in three Boxer wins; Matt Kaiser (Linfield, F) scored 47 points (including 27 at UPS) and grabbed 18 rebounds in three games; Jimmy Hill (Whitman, G) scored 30 points (including game-winning 3-pointer vs. Willamette) and grabbed 14 rebounds in two games.

Player of the Week: Scott Davis (Lewis & Clark, So., G, Eugene, OR) led the Pioneers into a tie for the NWC lead by scoring 68 points and adding 14 rebounds, 10 steals and 8 assists in three wins.
Honorable Mention: Jordan Green (George Fox, W) scored 62 points and added 21 rebounds, 15 assists and 15 steals in three games; Shawn Gahr (Willamette, G) scored 39 points and added 8 assists in three games; Derek Grace (Linfield, C) scored 21 points and grabbed 23 rebounds in two games; Jimmy Hill (Whitman, G) scored 53 points, while making 13 of 25 3-pointers in two games; Scott Hamre (Pacific, G) scored 16 points in one game.
Jan. 10-16
Player of the Week: Connelly Eseman (Pacific, Sr., G, Seattle, WA) scored 35 points and added 10 steals and six assists to lead Pacific to a pair of road wins.
Honorable Mention: Colin Oriard (L&C, C) scored 46 points and added 18 rebounds, six steals and three blocks in three L&C wins; Rob Emerson (Linfield, G) scored 32 points and grabbed six rebounds in two wins; Jason Preuit (PLU, W) scored 21 points in win at George Fox; Ryan Cruz (George Fox, G) scored 20 points in loss to PLU.

Player of the Week: Matt Kaiser (Linfield, Sr., F, Clatskanie, OR) scored 39 points and collected 8 rebounds and three steals while keeping Wildcats atop the NWC standings.
Honorable Mention: Treven Vander Ploeg (PLU, W) scored 35 points (55% FG) in two wins; Scott Davis (L&C, G) scored 22 points in a win at Pacific; Kevin McDaniel (Whitworth, P) scored 43 points and grabbed 27 rebounds in three games; Tom Lynch (UPS, P) scored 32 points and added 16 rebounds and three blocks in two games; Greg Durkin (Whitman, P) scored 38 points (58.1% FG) and grabbed 39 rebounds in three games; Jordan Green (George Fox, W) scored 55 points in three games, adding 12 rebounds, 14 assists.

Player of the Week: Derek Grace (Linfield, Sr., C, Hilo, HI) was named to the All-Tournament team at the San Antonio Shootout after scoring 32 points, grabbing 22 rebounds and blocking 4 shots in three games.
Honorable Mention: Kevin Justice (Whitman, G) scored 35 points and added 6 points and 6 assists in two losses at Occidental Round Robin; Jordan Green (George Fox, W) scored 24 points and added 6 steals, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in loss to Concordia.
Dec. 13 - 23
Co-Players of the Week: Anothony Boyd (Pacific, Sr., G, Tacoma, WA) scored 18 points on 8 of 10 shooting and added five rebounds, an assist and a steal in Boxers' 65-61 win over NCAA II Chaminade; Todd Meyerding (L&C, Sr., G, Medford, Ore.) scored 32 points on 12 of 13 shooting (5/5 3-ptrs) and added four rebounds and three assists in Pioneers' win over Puget Sound Christian.
Dec. 6 - 12
Player of the Week: Jeff Auxier (L&C, So., G/F, Sherwood, Ore.) scored 45 points (22.5 ppg / .469 fg%) in two games.
Honorable Mention: Ryan Nelson (Whitworth, G), in four games, scored 75 points (making 17/32 3-ptrs), leading Pirates to a 4-0 week; Dan Webber (George Fox, P) scored 33 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in two games; Jason Downey (Willamette, P) scored 37 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in two games; Tim Kelly (PLU, G) recorded 24 assists, 13 points and five steals in two games.

Player of the Week: Jeremy Vernon (Pacific, Sr., G, McMinnville, OR) scored 69 points in three games, all Boxer wins. He made 15/23 3-pointers and 16/18 from the free throw line. He also added six assists and 12 rebounds.
Honorable Mention: Matt Kaiser (Linfield, F/C) scored 34 points (.647 fg, 12/12 ft) in two Wildcat wins; Jason Downey (Willamette, P) scored 33 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in two Bearcat victories; Scott Davis (Lewis & Clark, G) scored 46 points (.613 fg, 6/11 3pt) in two games; Ryan Cruz (George Fox, W) scored 28 points (6/12 3pt) in two games; Kevin McDaniel (Whitworth, P) scored 36 points and grabbed 21 rebounds in two games; Trevor Vander Ploeg (PLU, W) scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in two plu losses; Kevin Justice (Whitman, G) scored 30 points in two losses.

Player of the Week: Jeff Auxier (Lewis & Clark, So., G/F, Sherwood, OR) averaged 23.5 points, while shooting .739 (he was also 7/9 from three point range), in two Pioneer victories. Honorable Mention: Grant Ebright (Linfield, G) scored 19 points and added five rebounds and five assists in Wildcats' season-opening win; Dan Webber (George Fox, P) shot .552 and averaged 19 points and 10.5 rebounds in two games.
Nov. 13-20
Player of the Week: Dan Weber (George Fox, Fr., P, Yamhill, OR) scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and added three blocks, two steals and two assists in season-opening 64-62 win over Northwest College.
Honorable Mention: Anthony Boyd (Pacific) scored 16 points and had four rebounds in Boxers' win over Multnomah Bible; Todd Meyerding (L&C, G) scored 27 points (making 78.6% of his shots) and had six steals in a pair of losses to NCAA Div. II schools to open the season; Leonard Harmon (Whitman, G) scored 35 points and added five assists and two steals in two losses.
