NWC Player of the Week: Drew Johnson (George Fox, Sr., OF, New Plymouth, Idaho - New Plymouth) batted .529 (9 for 17) against 2nd-ranked Chapman with three runs batted in and two runs scored.
Honorable Mention: Joel Tampien (Whitworth, Sr., 1B).

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Kyle Johnson (George Fox, So., RHP, Spring Valley, Calif. - Steele Canyon) pitched five innings of shoutout relief at Chapman.

April 30

NWC Player of the Week: Jordan Post (PLU, So., 1B, Beaverton, Ore. - Southridge) batted .615 (8 for 13) to lead the Lutes to a sweep of UPS. He drove in five runs and scored three times.
Honorable Mention: Ryan Fobert (George Fox, Jr., C); Kevin Mills (Linfield, Jr., OF); Ryan Bailey (Pacific, Jr., IF); Sean Anderson (Willamette, Jr., OF).

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Josh Burch (George Fox, So., RHP, Redding, Calif. - Shasta) tossed a complete-game, five-hit shutout against L&C. He struck out seven batters and walked only one.
Honorable Mention: Brian Clark (Linfield, Jr., RHP); Brett Brunner (PLU, Jr., LHP); Kyle Barksdale (Pacific, So.); Clint Moran (Willamette, So., LHP).

April 23

NWC Player of the Week: David Bachofner (Linfield, Jr., IF, Tigard, Ore. - Tigard) hit .643 (9 for 14) with two doubles and a triple. He drove in nine runs and scored six times.

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Kael Fisher (PLU, Sr., RHP, Everett, Wash. - Cascade) tossed a complete game, four hit shutout at Whitworth. He struck out 12 with 2 walks.

NWC Player of the Week: Pat Bailey (George Fox, So., 2B, Highland, Utah - Lone Peak) led the Bruins to a 4-0 week after batting .474 (9 for 19) with four doubles and a triple. He drove in five runs and scored six more.

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Brian Clark (Linfield, Jr., RHP, Bellevue, Wash. - Sammamish) allowed one run in 10 innings pitched, including a complete-game four hitter against Willamette. For the week he had 15 strikeouts and four walks.

NWC Player of the Week: Jon Whiteside (Whitworth, Jr., IF, Spokane, Wash. - CC of Spokane) batted .700 (7 for 10) in the Pirates' series at Oxy with a pair of doubles and a home run. He drove in three and scored five times. NWC Player of the Week: Cory Ellis (Linfield, So., SS, Hillsboro, Ore. - Glencoe) led the Wildcats to a 4-1 week by hitting .400 (6 for 15) with six runs batted in a and seven runs scored. He had the game winning grand slam on Sunday.

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Joe DiPietro (Pacific Lutheran, Sr., RHP, Yakima, Wash. - Eisenhower) beat George Fox 9-1, allowing one run on only three hits in a complete game effort. He struck out five and walked three.

NWC Player of the Week: Bo Thunell (George Fox, So., 3B, Canyon City, Ore. - Grant Union) batted .417 (5 for 12) with two doubles and a home run, leading the Bruins to three wins over UPS. He drove in eight RBIs and scored three times.

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Brian Clark (Linfield, Jr., RHP, Bellevue, Wash. - Sammamish) pitched 9.2 innings of shutout baseball. He went 8.2 innings in a 2-0 win at Pacific, allowing only four hits with six strikeouts and two walks. He also threw an inning of shutout relief against Concordia.

NWC Player of the Week: Dan Wentzell (George Fox, Sr., OF, Tualatin, Ore. - Tualatin) led the Bruins to a 4-1 week with three home runs (two game-winners), two doubles, 11 runs batted in and 9 runs scored. He batted .438 (7 for 16) while getting walked eight times. He also stole three bases in three attempts.

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Joe DiPietro (PLU, Sr., RHP, Yakima, Wash. - Eisenhower) went 8 innings in a 4-2 win over Pacific, allowing only one run on three hits while striking out 8 batters and walking only one. He improved to 5-1 this year.
Honorable Mention: Nick Bratney (George Fox, So., RHP); Clint Moran (Willamette, Jr., LHP); Brandon Zimmerman (Whitworth, Sr., RHP); Brian Clark (Linfield, Jr., RHP); Dusty Kauflin (UPS, Fr.).

NWC Player of the Week: Sean Anderson (Willamette, Jr., CF, Klamath Falls, Ore. - Klamath Falls) batted .636 (7 for 11) in three games (all wins) last week with five RBIs and three runs scored. He had two home runs, a double and a stolen base.
Honorable Mention: Josh Burch (George Fox, So., SS); Michael Olsen (UPS, Jr., OF); Alex Scarpelli (Whitworth, Jr., 3B); Kevin Mills (Linfield, Jr., OF); Logan Andrews (PLU, Sr., SS).

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Ryan Snell (Whitworth, Jr., RHP, Issaquah, Wash. - WSU) threw a complete game in a 4-1 win at L&C, allowing six hits while striking out eight and walking three.
Honorable Mention: Jarrid Summers (Willamette, So., RHP); Joe DiPietro (PLU, Sr.); Chris Albrecht (George Fox, Sr., LHP); Ryan Gustafson (UPS, Jr.).

March 5

NWC Player of the Week: Greg Williams (L&C, Sr., OF, San Diego, Calif. - Mt. Carmel) batted .417 (5 for 12) with two triples, a home run and three bases on balls. He drove in seven runners and also scored five times.

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Ryan Snell (Whitworth, Jr., RHP, Issaquah, Wash. - WSU) did not allow a run in eight innings of work, giving up only three hits and three walks in a win over Pacific. He struck out three batters.
Honorable Mention: Evan Scandling (UPS, Jr.); Derek Haner (Pacific, Sr., RHP); Jordan Smiley (L&C, Jr., RHP); Joe DiPietro (PLU, Sr.); Chris Albrecht (George Fox, Sr., LHP); Kelsey Nakata (Willamette, So., RHP).

Feb. 26

NWC Player of the Week: Bo Thunell (George Fox, So., 3B, Canyon City, Ore. - Grant Union) batted .500 (4 for 8) with six RBIs and three runs scored. He had a pair of doubles and a home run in the two Bruin victories.

NWC Pitcher of the Week: Nick Bratney (George Fox., So., RHP, Boise, Idaho - Bishop Kelly) tossed a complete-game victory, allowing four runs (none earned) on nine hits, with two strikeouts and one walk.
Honorable Mention: Tye Sundlee (Willamette, Jr., RHP); Joe DiPietro (PLU, Sr.); Ryan Gustafson (UPS, Jr., RHP).
