Joynt had her finest match as a collegian against Willamette, carrying the Lutes to the five-set victory. She averaged 4.5 kills and 3.6 digs per set in the two wins against Willamette and Lewis & Clark, adding three aces to her statistics as well.

Hanna averaged almost five kills per set in the Lutes’ two conference victories, the first of which assured PLU of an outright conference title, its fifth crown in the last six years. She added 22 digs to her totals and 28 total kills for the weekend.

Joynt collected 14 kills in the final three sets against rival Puget Sound as the Lutes rallied to remain unbeaten in the NWC. Her weekend kill average was .279 and she added four aces and 27 blocks to the 2-0 weekend for PLU.

Blankenship hit .458 and averaged 4.86 kills per game and 2.43 digs per game to help Willamette go 2-0 during the week. She recorded 12 kills and seven digs in Willamette’s 3-0 win over Whitworth. She earned 22 kills and 10 digs for a double-double in Willamette’s 3-1 victory over Whitman.

Pledger led the Bruins in kills this week, averaging 2.56 per game. Her 13 kills against Puget Sound led to the upset of the 22nd-ranked Loggers, helping GFU stretch their winning streak to eight.

Beth averaged 4.1 kills per set in five matches this week. She also earned all-tournament honors at the Puget Sound Premier hosted by Puget Sound after averaging 4.6 kills in the Lutes’ four matches. Hanna added four aces, 73 digs, and two blocks to her stats, leading her team to four wins in the first week of competition.

In her first week as a Boxer, Alexa averaged 3.50 kills and 3.11 digs per set.
She finished with three double-doubles (kills & digs) and led Pacific in both categories. Alexa came alive against formidable opponents in Wartburg and Central to post back-to-back 20-kill nights. She also had 11 blocks and 56 digs to her credit in the four matches the Boxers played in this week.
