2003 NWC Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week
Nov. 9
Co-NWC Offensive Players of the Week: Jael Hagerott (Whitworth, Fr, F, Spokane, Wash.) scored a goal and assisted on the other in a 2-0 win over Whitman; Michelle Gregoire (Willamette, Fr., F, Olympia, Wash.) scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 win over Linfield.
Honorable Mention: Perrin Shutz (UPS, F) scored the match-winner vs. PLU.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Erin Williams (UPS, So., GK, Vancouver, Wash.) made four saves to record the Loggers' 11th shutout of the season.
Honorable Mention: Stacy Clarke (Willamette, D) led the Bearcats' defensive effort, holding Linfield to four total shots, only one on goal; Jenn Miller (Whitworth, GK) made two saves for Whitworth's 10th shutout of the season.
Nov. 2
NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Anne Merten (Willamette, Sr., F, Corvallis, Ore.) scored three goals against Whitworth then assisted on the match-winning goal against Whitman.
Honorable Mention: Alyssa Burleson (PLU, M) finished with two goals and an assist in two matches; Sammie Arthur (Whitman, F) scored two goals at Linfield, including the game-winner; Kathleen Wochnick (Linfield, F) scored two goals against Whitman.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Bridget Stolee (UPS, Jr., D, Palo Alto, Calif.) led a Logger defensive effort that recorded a pair of shutouts and held two opponents to only a single shot on goal. She played 180 minutes.
Honorable Mention: Kari Woody (Willamette, GK) allowed only one goal while making 16 saves in two wins.
Oct. 26
NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Courtney Kjar (UPS, So., F, Sandy, Utah) scored two goals at Whitman and added two asssits at Whitworth as the Loggers won both matches.
Honorable Mention: Maja Pederson (PLU, M) scored two goals and added an assist at Whitman; Jael Hagerott (Whitworth, F) had two goals and an assist in two matches; Kara Mackenzie (Whitman, M) scored two goals in two losses; Nicole Dahl (Willamette, F) had the match-winning goal vs. GFU; Kathleen Wochnick (Linfield, F) scored the match-winning goal vs. GFU.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Shannon Tillman (Pacific, Fr., GK, Fremont, Calif.) made 13 saves while allowing only one goal in a win and a tie.
Honorable Mention: Joey Muchlinski (Willamette, D) led a Bearcat defense that allowed only one goal.
Oct. 19
NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Jamie MacLauchlan (Pacific, Sr., M, Medford, Ore.) scored the match-winning goal in both of the Boxers' wins.
Honorable Mention: Heather Carlson (Whitworth, F) totaled four assists in two matches; Anne Merten (Willamette, M) had a goal and an assist in two matches; Emily Atkinson (George Fox, M) scored two goals in a pair of losses; Maja Pederson (PLU, M) had a goal and an assist vs. Linfield; Sammie Arthur (Whitman, F) scored her ninth goal of the season vs. George Fox.

NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Brooke Erickson (George Fox, Sr., F, Vancouver, Wash.) scored all four goals in the Bruins' win over PLU.
Honorable Mention: Jael Hagerott (Whitworth, F) scored two goals vs. Linfield and assisted on the match-winner vs. Willamette; Michelle Gregiore (Willamette, F) scored two goals vs. Whitman; McKenzie Hoffman (Whitman, F) scored two goals in a loss to Willamette; Alyssa Burleson (PLU, M) scored the match-winner at Pacific.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Jenn Miller (Whitworth, So., GK, Philomath, Ore.) made six saves in 169 minutes, leading to a pair of shutouts of Linfield and Willamette.
Honorable Mention: Stacey Ozga (George Fox, GK) had 26 saves in two matches; Emilie Goodling (Linfield, GK) had 16 saves in two matches.
Oct. 5
NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Jael Hagerott (Whitworth, Fr., F, Spokane, Wash.) led the Pirates to a pair of wins with three goals and two assists.
Honorable Mention: Brenna Hindman (Willamette, F) scored three goals and had one assist in two wins; Samie Arthur (Whitman, M) scored two goals in two wins.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Ashli Anderson (Whitworth, Jr., D, Spokane) anchored a Pirate defense that allowed no goals and only five shots on goal in two wins.
Honorable Mention: Stacy Clark (Willamette, D) helped the Bearcats allow only one goal (11 shots on goal) in two wins
Sept. 28
NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Brenna Hindman (Willamette, So., F, Boulder, Colo.) scored three goals and added a pair of assists to lead the Bearcats to a 3-0 week in NWC play.
Honorable Mention: Moani Lau (Pacific, F) scored four goals, including a hat trick vs. George Fox, in three matches; Kathleeen Wochnick (Linfield, F) scored three goals in three matches; Brooke Erickson (George Fox, F) scored three goals, keeping the Bruins close in an 0-3 week; Brita Lider (PLU, F) had two goals in three matches; Terra Wood (UPS, F) scored the match winning goal in her only contest of the week against Whitman.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Amy Quandt (UPS, Jr., GK, Corvallis, Ore.) recorded two shutouts and allowed only one goal in three victories, making eight saves.
Honorable Mention: No other nominations.
Sept. 21
NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Moani Lau (Pacific, Sr., MF, Honolulu, Hawaii) scored three goals in three matches to lead the Boxers to three wins.
Honorable Mention: Kim Abshier (Linfield, D) scored the match-winning goal vs. Concordia; Monique Weaver (George Fox, F) had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over Warner Pacific; Mckenzie Hoffman (Whitman, F) scored a goal as the Missionaries went 1-1.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Lynnette Adams (Linfield, So., GK, Newberg, Ore.) made four saves while shutting out NAIA #4 Concordia.
Honorable Mention: Stephanie Kawamura (Pacific, GK) made nine saves in a pair of shutouts (Cascade, CSU-H); Jenn Miller (Whitworth, GK) made two saves in a shutout of NAIA #11 SFU; Rena Parcells (Whitman, GK) had three saves in a shutout of CWU, her only match of the week.
Sept. 14
NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Monique Weaver (George Fox, Fr., F, Salem, Ore.) set a pair of Bruin records by recording five goals and an assist in the win over Cascade. The records were for single-match goals (5) and points (11).
Honorable Mention: Kelly Ping (Linfield, F) had three goals and an assist in the win over Lakeland; Michelle Gregoire (Willamette, F) had three goals and two assists in two wins; Jael Hagerott (Whitworth, F) scored two goals and assisted on another in Whitworth's win over Rocky Mountain.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: No nominations.

NWC Offensive Player of the Week: Kathleen Wochnick (Linfield, So., F, Vancouver, Wash.) scored six goals and added three assists in three wins.
Honorable Mention: Sammie Arthur (Whitman, F) had five goals and an assist in three wins; Susan Butler (Willamette) scored four goals in three wins; Jael Haggerott (Whitworth, F) had three assists in three wins; Alyssa Burleson (PLU) scored two goals vs. CSU-Monterey Bay; Danielle Bowie (George Fox, M) had a goal and an assist in the tie with Hayward.
NWC Defensive Player of the Week: Jody Rucinski (Whitworth, D, Whitefish, Mont.) anchored a Whitworth defense that allowed only three shots on goal in three shutout wins.
Honorable Mention: Anne Owen (Whitman, GK) did not allow a goal in a match and a half of action; Dana Libby (Linfield, D) led a defense that allowed three goals in three matches; Kim Bosley (PLU, GK) made two saves in a shutout of CSUMB.
