Major: Business

Prestianni hit .889 (8-of-9) in four games last week, all wins. She scored seven runs, drew seven walks, and stole two bases. She added one double, three home runs, 12 RBIs, 2.000 slugging pct., .938 on-base pct., and .909 fielding pct. in 11 chances.

Lee picked up a save in the final game against Lewis & Clark (10-6) with 1.2 relief innings, one hit and no runs allowed, one strikeout and no walks. She had five appearances, a 2-0 record with one save, 20.1 innings, 19 hits, six runs, two earned, .69 ERA, six strikeouts, and one walk. Lee led the 13-27 Bruins to a 4-0 season-ending win streak and eight more wins the last season.

Doucette hit .625 (10-16) as Linfield went 6-0 last week to clinch the NWC title. She led the team with 11 RBIs and scored six runs while adding one double and one home run. Her team and NWC-leading 13th home run broke the Linfield single-season club record of 50.

Velaski went 3-0 in three appearances last week, posting a 0.82 ERA in 17 innings of action. She struck out 15 batters while walking just three and allowing two earned runs. Velaski held her opponents to .175 batting average and no extra-base hits. Her week included two complete-game 7-inning victories over No. 25 Willamette.

Lepp hit .500 as Linfield went 6-0, totaling 14 RBIs, 1 triple, 6 home runs, and 12 runs scored. She had a 1.333 slugging pct., .500 on-base pct., and 1.000 fielding pct. in 41 chances.

Harvey went 3-0 last week with a 1.31 ERA. She struck out 13 batters without surrendering a walk over 16 innings, allowed just nine hits and five runs (three were earned). Her opponents were held to .164 batting average, including a one-hit, complete-game seven-inning shutout at Puget Sound.

Billingsley batted .714 in the doubleheader with Lewis & Clark. She had RBIs on each of her hits in the opener as well as a double and four RBI.

Compton pitched five innings of shutout ball en route to a 9-0 victory over Pacific Lutheran. She allowed just one hit and walked one while striking out two in five innings, for a 0.00 ERA and .059 opponent’s batting average. With the win, Compton moved to 9-0 overall this season.

Hesselgesser led Whitworth to a 7-1 week by hitting .571 and leading the team in RBIs (14) and total bases. She had three doubles and two homeruns while adding four stolen bases to her totals.

Jessice Mangis posted a 0.78 earned run average in four appearances this week and had two complete-game shutouts. She earned her second save of the season and also won once in relief. She did all of this while battling a persistent finger injury that is limiting her playing time.

In four games, Stacey hit .529 with a .882 slugging percentage and .556 on-base percentage. With three hits in both games of the George Fox doubleheader, Stacey reached a streak of four straight games with three hits. With two homers this weekend, she now has four this season.

Romero batted .714 during her four starts at shortstop and accumulated 10 hits during Willamette's weekend sweep of Puget Sound. She finished the weekend with five runs, six RBIs, four extra base hits and a 1.071 slugging percentage. On defense she earned eleven assists and four putouts without making an error at shortstop.

McNealy was the winning pitcher in four of the Boxers' six games last week, including three of the Boxers' four NWC victories of the week. She amassed a 1.52 ERA for the week while allowing only five runs on 14 hits and had 26 strikeouts. She put together complete game three-hitters vs. Corban and George Fox.

Briske batted .571 (8-14) with two doubles, one home run, seven RBI, 13 total bases and .929 slugging percentage as the Bruins went 3-1 over the weekend. She scored the winning run in an extra-inning win over Corban and had a RBI double that scored the game-winning run in the second Corban game.

Lee posted a 2-0 record in three games with a 1.87 ERA, 14 hits and four runs allowed in 15.0 innings. She had four strikeouts and only two walks, not walking a batter in her complete-game win over Corban. Lee threw a five-hit shutout at defending Cascade Collegiate Conference champion and pre-season No. 15 in NAIA Division II College of Idaho.
