Nov. 11
Offensive Player of the Week: Trent Thompson (Lewis & Clark, Fr., QB, Grants Pass, OR) recorded 410 yards of total offense in the 33-26 loss to Whitworth. He passed for 292 yards and two touchdowns (0 interceptions) and ran for 118 yards.
Honorable Mention: Chad Johnson (PLU, QB) completed 20 of 24 passes for 288 yards with two touchdowns and 1 interception, while also running for 27 yards and another score; Ty McGregor (Whitworth, WR) caught 4 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 34 yards and another score; John Nosler (Linfield, WR) caught 9 passes for 83 yards.
Defensive Player of the Week: Devin Pierce (PLU, So., DB, Boise, ID) had 3 second half interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns, to lead the Lutes to a win at UPS.
Honorable Mention: Alex Rix (Linfield, CB) made a game-high 12 tackles, blocked a punt and broke up a pass in the win over Willamette; J.J. Rodriquez (Whitworth, LB) recorded 16 tackles (game high), including two for losses of five yards; David Hurt (L&C, LB) had 11 tackles, including three for loss and a sack.
Nov. 4
Offensive Player of the Week: Shipley Ennis (PLU, Sr., RB, Edmonds, WA) touched the ball five times and finished with 165 yards and three touchdowns. He had three rushes for 91 yards, including a 78-yard score, and caught two passes for 14 and 62 yard touchdowns in the 33-0 win at SOU.
Honorable Mention: John Nosler (Linfield, WR) caught four passes for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns (from 35 and 67 yards) in the win at Whitworth; Chad Mahoe (UPS, RB) ran for 139 yards on 21 carries in the win at EOU; Trent Thompson (L&C, QB) threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 46 yards and a score in the win at Willamette; Ty McGregor (Whitworth, WR) caught 8 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Linfield.
Defensive Player of the Week: Will Lathrop (UPS, Sr., LB, Joseph, OR) recorded 17 total tackles, including four for losses of 19 yards and two sacks for 12 yards. He killed EOU's last scoring threat with a sack late in the game.
Honorable Mention: Benji Sonnichsen (PLU, S) had six tackles, including two for losses of six yards, and three pass deflections; Hans Evenson (Linfield, LB) recorded 11 tackles, 8 primary; Casey Lawrence (Whitworth, LB) had a game-high 14 tackles and a fumble recovery; David Hurt (L&C, LB) had nine solo tackles, including three for losses of 11 yards and a sack.
Oct. 28
Offensive Player of the Week: Chad Johnson (PLU, Sr., QB, Puyallup, WA) threw for 343 yards and four touchdowns while completing 27 of 34 passes in the win over Willamette.
Honorable Mention: Trent Thompson (L&C, QB) completed 26 of 43 passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns in a win at Colorado College; Ty McGregor (Whitworth, WR) caught nine passes for 144 yards and the game winning touchdown vs. EOU; Sonte Wong (Linfield, WR) caught five passes for 59 yards and a touchdown and returned three punts for 40 yards.
Defensive Player of the Week: Hans Evenson (Linfield, Jr., LB, Forest Grove, OR) had 11 tackles, including one sack of 7 yards and six other tackles for losses of 16 yards in the win over UPS.
Honorable Mention: Doug Edmonson (Whitworth, LB) had 12 tackles including two for losses of three yards; Barry Friedman (L&C, LB) had eight tackles, including two for loss; Christian Foreman (PLU, DL) forced two fumbles and had three tackles.
Oct. 21
Offensive Player of the Week: Andy Miguel (Willamette, Sr., WR, Woodland, CA) ran for 208 yards on 20 carries and scored a touchdown on a 78-yard run in the Bearcats' win over Eastern Oregon.
Honorable Mention: Curt Musser (Linfield, QB) threw for 235 yards and four touchdowns while completing 8 of 14 passes in only a half of play; Billy Condon (Whitworth, RB) ran for 118 yards on 34 carries; Jeff Scheid caught four passes, including three touchdowns, for 36 yards in the loss to Linfield.
Defensive Player of the Week: Ian Sanders (Whitworth, Sr, DB, Tigard, OR) had six solo tackles, deflected three passes and intercepted another in the 4th quarter to secure Whitworth's win at UPS.
Honorable Mention: Andy Eckley (Willamette, LB) recorded a game-high 11 tackles, including a four-yard sack, vs. EOU; Brady Andrews (Linfield, DB) made five tackles, including one for loss, and intercepted his third pass of the season.
Oct. 14
Offensive Player of the Week: Bryan Siu (UPS, Jr., WR, Honolulu, HI) had 252 all-purpose yards in the Loggers' 17-7 win over previously undefeated Pomona-Pitzer. He caught 7 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns, including an 87-yarder. He also had three returns (2 kick-off, 1 punt) for 48 yards.
Honorable Mention: John Nosler (Linfield, WR) caught 10 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns in a win at EOU; Curt Musser (Linfield, QB) completed 25 of 34 passes for 327 yards, two touchdowns and one interception; Chad Johnson (PLU, QB) threw for 186 yards with one touchdown and ran for 66 yards and two other scores in a win at L&C.
Defensive Player of the Week: Hans Evenson (Linfield, Jr., LB, Forest Grove, OR) had eight tackles (7 unassisted), including two sacks and two others for loss, as the Wildcats held EOU to only 46 yards rushing, 199 below its average.
Honorable Mention: Danilo Viloria (Whitworth, SS) recorded three tackles, two were for loss, intercepted a pass, recovered a fumble and forced another in his first game since breaking his arm in the season-opener; Shane Lyman (Whitworth, DE) had seven tackles and a fumble recovery to lead a Pirate defensive line that held Willamette to season lows in rushing and total offense; Will Lathrop (UPS, LB) had 12 tackles and blocked a field goal; Christian Foreman (PLU, NG) had six tackles in the Lutes' win at L&C; Chris Smith (L&C, DB) had 13 tackles vs. PLU.
Oct. 7
Offensive Player of the Week: Andrew Ecklund (Willamette, Jr., RB, San Louis Obispo, CA) ran for 176 yards on 16 carries (11.0 ypc) and scored two touchdowns on runs of 74 and 44 yards to lead the Bearcats' win over SOU.
Honorable Mention: Curt Musser (Linfield, QB) threw for 326 yards and four touchdowns without an interception, completing 22 of 33 passes; Chad Johnson (PLU, QB) completed 18/28 passes for 305 yards for five touchdowns and no interceptions; Jason Hill (L&C, WR) caught 10 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown; Bryan Siu (UPS, WR) had 154 all-purpose yards, including 105 yards receiving on 8 catches (and a touchdown).
Defensive Player of the Week: Marcus Boards (Willamette, Fr., DB, Vista, CA) recorded 15 unassisted tackles, including two for losses of seven yards, and intercepted a pass in overtime of win over SOU.
Honorable Mention: David Sugihara (UPS, DB) had 14 tackles and an interception in win over L&C; Mike Mauss (PLU, LB) recorded 14 tackles in win over EOU; Hans Evenson (Linfield, LB) recorded seven tackles to lead a Wildcat defense that held Whittier to 207 total yards; K.C. Fike (L&C, LB) had seven tackles in loss to UPS.
Sept. 30
Offensive Player of the Week: Carl Haberberger (Linfield, Sr., RB, Leavenworth, WA) ran for a career-high 224 yards on 31 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to a 38-28 road win over #1 PLU.
Honorable Mention: Chad Johnson (PLU, QB) completed 29 of 46 passes for a career-high 445 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss to Linfield; Scott Biglin (Whitworth, QB) passed for 285 yards, completing 21 of 43 attempts with a touchdown and interception in the Pirates' comeback win at SFU. He also ran for 56 yards and a touchdown; Jason Hill (L&C, WR) caught six passes for 87 yards in the loss to C-M-S.
Defensive Player of the Week: Sky Blake (Whitworth, Sr., DE, Bothell, WA) recorded a game-high 19 tackles (11 unassisted and one for loss of 2 yards) and recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter to lead the Pirates' win at SFU.
Honorable Mention: Hans Evenson (Linfield, LB) had 13 tackles (six unassisted and one for loss of 2 yards), a forced fumble and broke up two passes; David Hurt (L&C, LB) recorded 12 tackles a forced a fumble.
Sept. 23
Offensive Player of the Week: Chad Mahoe (UPS, So., RB, Kailua, Hawaii) rushed for 101 yards on 23 carries, scoring a touchdown, to lead the Loggers to a 17-14 win at Willamette.
Honorable Mention: Chad Johnson (PLU, QB) completed 17 of 24 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns in win over Whitworth; Scott Biglin, completed 17 of 28 passes for 200 yards (197 in the second half) and two touchdowns, while also running for a score, in loss to PLU; Jason Hill (L&C, WR) caught 8 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns in loss at Pomona-Pitzer.
Defensive Player of the Week: Ben McGrann (PLU, Jr., LB, Yakima, Wash.) recorded 11 tackles, including two sacks for -9 yards in win at Whitworth.
Honorable Mention: Doug Edmonson (Whitworth, LB) recorded 16 tackles in loss to PLU; Cullen Pang (UPS, LB) recorded 8 tackles at Willamette.
Sept. 16
Offensive Player of the Week: Chad Johnson (PLU, Sr., QB, Puyallup, Wash.) recorded 476 yards of total offense in the Lutes' 42-28 win over Simon Fraser. He completed 23 of 37 passes for 379 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran for 97 yards on ten carries, including a 79-yard score.
Honorable Mention: Billy Condon (Whitworth, RB) ran for 115 yards on 19 carries and scored two touchdowns; Bryan Siu (UPS, WR) caught 8 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown; Jeff Scheid (L&C, WR) caught four passes for 59 yards and ran for 24 yards on nine carries, while scoring a touchdown receiving and rushing; Josh Harrison (Linfield, WR) caught two passes for 43 yards and two scores, including the clinching TD with 3:46 to play.
Defensive Player of the Week: Barry Friedman (L&C, Sr., LB, Kenwood, Calif.) recorded 18 tackles to lead the Pioneers' 21-17 comeback win over defending SCIAC champion Redlands.
Honorable Mention: Ike Ellis (Linfield, DB) intercepted two passes in the red zone and finished with seven tackles; Benji Sonnichsen (PLU, DB) recorded seven tackles, including two for loss of five yards and one sack for -4; Sky Blake (Whitworth, DE) recorded 10 tackles, including three for loss of 10 yards; Sky Kitaoka (UPS, DB) intercepted two passes and forced a fumble while recording six tackles.
Sept. 9
Co-Offensive Players of the Week: Chad Johnson (PLU, Sr., QB, Puyallup, Wash.) and Aaron Binger (PLU, Fr., RB, North Bend, Wash.) led the defending national champions to their explosive win over Cal Lutheran. Johnson finished with 291 yard passing, completing 20 passes in 30 attempts with a touchdown and no interceptions. Binger ran for 171 yards on only eight carries, scoring twice on runs of 30 and 55 yards (he also caught five passes for 50 yards).
Honorable Mention: Luke Atwood (Willamette, QB) ran for 126 yards on 15 rushes to lead the Bearcats past Chapman; Carl Haberberger (Linfield, RB) ran for 105 yards on 15 attempts, including and 80-yard score; Craig Knapp (UPS, QB) completed 22 of 42 passes for 225 yards, with three TD's and two interceptions.
Defensive Player of the Week: Sky Blake (Whitworth, Sr., DE, Bothell, Wash.) recorded 21 tackles and two assists, while making one sack and another tackle for loss (totaling four yards) and deflecting a pair of passes in the Pirates' loss at Redlands.
Honorable Mention: Kris Helphinstine (PLU, DE) recorded 4 tackles and 4 assists (including two for losses of 11 yards) and returned a fumble 79 yards for a touchdown; Hans Evenson (Linfield) recorded two tackles and eight assists (with four for losses of 19 yards); Tim Steward (Will., FS) recorded four tackles, two assists and an interception; Kyle Maloy (UPS, LB) recorded eight tackles and five assists, including three for losses of four yards.
