NWC Men's Swimmer of the Week: Michael Woodward (Whitworth, Fr., Springfield, Ore. - Thurston) led the Pirates to the win over UPS with wins in the 200 free (1:46.01) and 100 free (48.51), along with a second place finish in the 200 I.M. (2:01.27).
Honorable Mention: Jay Jones (PLU, Fr.); Jamie Nusse (Whitman, Fr.); John Schmidtbauer (Willamette, Fr.).
NWC Women's Swimmer of the Week: Samantha Kephart (Whitworth, Sr., Santa Maria, Calif. - St. Joseph) won the 100 butterfly (56.53) and 500 freestyle (5:14.38) against UPS. The time in the 100 fly broke her own Whitworth pool record and is the fastest time at the NCAA Division III level so far this season.

NWC Men's Swimmer of the Week: Josh Parfitt (Linfield, Jr., Damascus, Ore. - Barlow) won the 1,650 Free (16:33.22) and 500 Free (4:45.05) vs. UPS and won the 1,000 Free (9:57.10) and finished second in the 200 Fly (2:04.63) vs. Willamette. All four times are season bests, and the 1,650 and 500 times are the second fastest in the NWC this season.

NWC Women's Swimmer of the Week: Jessie Klauder (PLU, Fr., Klamath Falls, Ore. - Mazama) won the 200 Free (1:59.49) and 500 Free (5:24.28) vs. L&C and won the 1,000 Free (11:19.20) and the 100 Free (56.84) vs. Whitworth. All but the 100 time are season-bests.

NWC Men's Swimmer of the Week: Ysbrand Nusse (Whitman, Jr., Palo Alto, Calif. - Gunn) led the Missionaries to a pair of team dual meet victories with wins in the 400 I.M. (4:40.69) and 500 Free (5:12.97) vs. Willamette, and the 50 Free (23.01) and 200 Back (2:04.02) vs. Lewis & Clark. He also led a pair of winning relays.

NWC Men's Swimmer of the Week: Jay Jones (PLU, Fr., Vancouver, Wash. - Mt. View) won the 100 Butterfly (53.28) and 200 Butterfly (2:04.31) at the CLU Invitational. He was also fifth in the 100 Breaststroke and fourth in the non-scoring 400 Individual Medley.

Men's Swimmer of the Week: Dominic Rieniets (Linfield, So., Sherwood, Ore. - Sherwood) won the 50 Freestyle (21.83), 100 Butterfly (52.30) and 100 Freestyle (48.45) at the Northwest Invitational. He was also part of the winning 200 Freestyle Relay (1:29.65), 200 Medley Relay (1:41.97) and 800 Free Relay (7:10.95).

Women's Swimmer of the Week: Natalie Turner (Whitworth, So., South Lake Tahoe, Wash. - South Lake Tahoe) was the top-small college scorer at the Husky Invitational, placing in all four of her individual events: 500 Freestyle (5:00.02), 200 Freestyle (1:52.41), 100 Freestyle (53.02) and 1,650 Freestyle (17:24.91). All four are NWC-best marks by a wide margin this season.

Nov. 19
Men's Swimmer of the Week: Alex Limoges (PLU, Fr., Vancouver, Wash. - Hudson's Bay) led the Lutes past Whitman by winning the 400 I.M. and 200 Backstroke. He was also part of the winning 4x100 Medley Relay.
Honorable Mention: Matt Tanigawa (Willamette, So.).
Women's Swimmer of the Week: Jessie Donovan (PLU, So., Mount Vernon, Wash. - Mount Vernon) won the 50 Freestyle and 200 Backstroke and was part of the winning 4x100 Freestyle relay in the Lutes' win over Whitman. Her time in the backstroke leads the NWC.
Honorable Mention: Elizabeth Roberson (Whitman, Sr.); Jenna Larrow (Willamette, So.).
Nov. 12
Men's Swimmer of the Week: David Dolphay (Whitworth, Sr., Great Falls, Mont. - Great Falls) won the 1,000 Freestyle in 9:59.46 and finished second in the 500 Freestyle in 4:43.66 at Seattle, improving his NWC best marks in those events by nearly 10 seconds.
Honorable Mention: Josh Parfitt (Linfield, Jr.); Brandon Mantei (Pacific, Fr.).
Women's Swimmer of the Week: Samantha Kephart won 200 Butterfly in 2:07.01, the 100 Butterfly in 58.84 and the 100 Freestyle in 54.44 at Seattle. The 200 fly and 100 free times are NWC best marks and the 200 fly is a strong NCAA provisional qualifying time.

Nov. 5
Men's Swimmer of the Week: Michael Woodward (Whitworth, Fr., Springfield, Ore. - Thurston) won all four of his individual events over the weekend, leading the Pirates to two team wins. He won the 200 I.M. (1:59.48) and 200 Backstroke (2:05.60) on Friday and the 200 Freestyle (1:45.39) and 100 Freestyle (48.31) on Saturday. He was also part of two winning relays.
Honorable Mention: Nathan Smith (Pacific, Jr.); Jay Jones (PLU, Fr.); Justin Lawton (L&C, Jr.); Greg Henselman (Willamette, Sr.).
Women's Swimmer of the Week: Natalie Turner (Whitworth, So., South Lake Tahoe, Calif. - South Lake Tahoe) earned NCAA Provisional Qualifying times while winning the 200 Free (1:54.92) and 1,650 Free (17:37.24) and also won the 500 Free (5:10.15) and 100 Back (1:04.54). Her winning 1,650 time broke a pool record that was set in 1986 at the NAIA championships.
