Football - Special Teams - Student-Athlete of the Week
Matthew Herzog I Punter I Whitworth | JR | Spokane, Wash. | Gonzaga Prep
Herzog punted five times for an average of 44.8 yards. All five of his punts pinned Redlands inside the 20-yard line. His 53-yard effort with 1:20 to play in the first half was downed at the one-yard line, allowing the Pirates to force a quick three and out and then kick a field goal on the final play of the half to pull within 14-13 and set the stage for a 33-14 road win.
