Women’s Volleyball - Offensive - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ayre Takamoto I S I Pacific Lutheran | JR | Honolulu, Hawaii | Kalani
Takamoto quarterbacked the Lute offense to a pair of three-set sweeps to open NWC play. Takamoto had 60 of PLU's 71 assists over the weekend while racking up eight service aces, five kills, 17 digs, and two blocks. Takamoto had 31 assists in Friday's win over GFU before putting up a double-double of 29 assists and 12 digs with five aces in Saturday's victory over Pacific. The junior currently leads the NWC in both assists and aces.
Women’s Volleyball - Defensive - Student-Athlete of the Week
Naia Alefaio-Foifua I L I Linfield | SO | Seattle, Wash. | Mount Rainier
Naia Alefaio-Foifua led the Wildcats defensive efforts once again, totaling 4.71 digs per set on 33 digs over seven sets. She also added four aces per match on the weekend. Her road trip was highlighted by 23 digs in a four-set win over Whitworth, the Wildcats first win over the Pirates in four seasons, and first in less-than five sets since 2017.
