Men’s Soccer- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Rhys Foote I F I Puget Sound | JR | Palo Alto, Calif. | Palo Alto
Foote delivered three goal contributions over the weekend, starting with a two-goal performance on four shots against Pacific-opening the day with a penalty kick before adding a second goal shortly after. He followed up in a 3-3 draw by firing six shots and providing an assist.
Men’s Soccer- Defense - Student-Athlete of the Week
Micaiah Garan I GK I Lewis & Clark | SR | Honolulu, Hawaii | Roosevelt
Garan backstopped Lewis & Clark to the program’s first win since returning to varsity status and posted 14 saves across two games this weekend. The senior posted a 1.00 goals against average and 87.5 save percentage across 180 minutes. On Saturday, he registered a five-save shutout to lead Lewis & Clark to a 2-0 win at Whitworth. He added a season-high nine saves, including a penalty-kick stop, on Sunday in a 2-0 loss at defending NWC Champions Whitman College.
