Hammond & Carr Named NWC Women’s Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week

The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Track & Field for the week of March 31st through April 6th.

Women’s Track - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ally Hammond I Sprints I Pacific | SR | Forest Grove, Ore. | Forest Grove

At Linfield on Saturday, Hammond finished runner-up in the 400-meter run in 56.37 seconds, the No. 1 time in NWC this season and No. 12 in Division III. Hammond also ran on Pacific's 4x100 relay team, which is currently fifth in the conference.

Women’s Field - Student-Athlete of the Week
Madison Carr I Throws I Whitworth | SR | Spokane, Wash. | West Valley

Carr won the hammer throw at the 2026 Whitworth Peace meet with a distance of 175'-7".  Her mark now leads the NWC and ranks sixth in NCAA Division III.  It is the second-longest throw in Whitworth history.  Carr also finished fifth in the women's shot put with a distance of 45'-7", which is second in the conference to teammate Amblessed Okemgbo.  Carr's mark in the shot ranks fifth in the nation (Div. III).
