Lakewood, Wash.– The 2026 Northwest Conference Spring Classic concluded early Sunday afternoon at the Oakbrook Golf Club, with the George Fox Women finishing first and defending their 2025 title.
The Bruins maintained a dominant lead and claimed victory in round two, finishing with a score of 307+303 (610). In second place were the Whitworth Pirates, finishing with a score of 313+308 (621). In third was Lewis & Clark with a final score of 321+313 (634).
The Whitman Blues placed fourth with a score of (644), followed by Pacific at fifth with a final score of 654. Rounding out the final standings were Pacific Lutheran (682), Puget Sound (683), and Linfield (729).
Individually, Ahika Jani of Lewis & Clark held her position atop the scoreboard, finishing in the first place position with a final score of 74+73 (147). Samara D'Silva of George Fox claimed the runner-up spot with a score 77+74 (151), followed by Bead Boonta of Pacific in third 75+77 (152). George Fox held the next three top scorers in a four-way tie– Katelyn Lam, Reyna Naranjo, and Abby Matelski all finishing at 153 (+9).

The NWC Spring Classic marks the second of three conference tournaments that will determine the overall conference champion for the 2025-2026 season, and ultimately determine the automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Golf Tournament. The NWC Golf Championships take place April 19-20th, hosted by Pacific University.
