Paige Wilson allowed no earned runs in a pair of road wins to help PLU clinch its first NWC regular season title since 2003. Wilson had nine strikeouts over the weekend while allowing just two walks and nine hits in 12 innings of work. Wilson allowed just three hits in a 15-0 complete game shutout of the host Pirates on Saturday before tossing a complete game in Sunday's 4-1 win, with Whitworth's lone run unearned.

The senior catcher went 7-11 at the dish last weekend, hitting a double and three home runs, tallying six runs batted in. She walked twice, boasting a .692 OB% and slugged 1.545, failing to strikeout over the weekend. She remains No. 1 in Division III in home runs (20), runs batted in (72), and is second in the country in both sacrifice flies (6) and slugging percentage (1.024).
