The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Track & Field for the week of April 7th through April 13th.
Women’s Track - Student-Athlete of the Week
Kyrstin Wilson I Sprints I Puget Sound | SR | Lafayette, Calif. | Campolindo
Wilson had two season-best times this weekend at the CWU Wildcat Invitational, and now has DIII qualifying marks in both the 100m and 200m. She placed fourth in the 100m as the top DIII finisher, running a time of 11.82 seconds, which moves her up to 8th in Division III. She followed that performance up with a win in the 200m, running a season-best time of 24.74 seconds to sneak into the 22nd spot nationally.
Women’s Field - Student-Athlete of the Week
Ki Neir I Pole Vault I Pacific Lutheran | SO | Yelm, Wash. | Yelm
Neir cleared a season-best 11' 5 ¼" in the pole vault to win the competition at the CWU Wildcat Invitational on Saturday in Ellensburg, Wash. Neir currently owns the third best vault in the NWC this season.
