Women’s Golf - Student-Athlete of the Week
Stella Fergin I Whitworth | JR | Orange County, Calif. | Orange Lutheran
Stella Fergin finished sixth at the UC Santa Cruz Invitational over the weekend in Pacific Grove, California, an event that featured nine schools ranked among the top 50 in NCAA Division III. She was in the hunt for the medal after Saturday's round and finished the tournament with a score of 74-77 - 151. The round of 74 was the lowest for any NWC player in the tournament.

Matthew Durkin I Whitworth | SR | Spokane, Wash. | Gonzaga Prep
Matthew Durkin won medalist honors at the GFU Invitational this week by posting a birdy on the second playoff hole. After shooting a tournament-best round of 66 on Monday, he overcame four bogies on the front nine on Tuesday to end with a two-day score of 66-75 - 141. Durkin posted a birdy 4 on the par-5 18th hole to win the playoff.
