Charlie Decker I P I Puget Sound | JR | Thousand Oaks, Calif. | Chaminade Prep
Decker had a great outing against Occidental this weekend, picking up his second win of the season against the Tigers. He threw for 5.1 innings, only giving up two hits and one run, while striking out two. All of this was done in 78 pitches, making it a productive outing for the California native.
Baseball- Player - Student-Athlete of the Week
Will Michelman I LF I Lewis & Clark | SO | Woodland Hills, Calif. | Agoura Hills
Michelman hit .500 (8-16) on the weekend and racked up 10 RBI to lead Lewis & Clark to a 3-1 series victory over Chapman University. The sophomore left fielder hit safely and posted at least one RBI in all four games and notched multiple hits and multiple RBI in three contests. He added two doubles and two walks. Michelman helped Lewis & Clark sweep the Panthers on Saturday, as he went 5-8 with seven RBI. The sophomore added two hits, two RBI and a walk in the River Otters 8-4 game four victory.
