Wilson & Johnson Named NWC Women’s Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week

The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Track & Field for the week of March 17th through March 23rd.

Women’s Track - Student-Athlete of the Week
Kyrstin Wilson I Sprints I Puget Sound | SR | Lafayette, Calif. | Campolindo

Wilson had a great start to her outdoor season at the Brad Moore Invitational, winning the Women's 100m Dash with a time of 12.11. This places her T-6th nationally in the 100m, and is the fastest time in the conference so far this season.

Women’s Field - Student-Athlete of the Week
Makaylah Johnson I Hept. I George Fox | FR | Maple Valley, Wash. | Tahoma

Makaylah Johnson had a standout showing at the Redlands Invite, capturing the heptathlon in style. The freshman finished top two in six of the seven events, winning the 100m hurdles, long jump, and 800m. Thanks to her strong efforts, Johnson now leads the entire nation in the heptathlon with her score of 4638.
