The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Softball for the week of February 17th through February 23rd.
Softball- Pitcher - Student-Athlete of the Week
Nicole Ledendecker I P I George Fox | SO | Medford, Ore. | South Medford
Ledendecker went 2-0 over the weekend, pitching 13 innings across both games. The sophomore recorded three strikeouts with a game ERA of 1.17 versus La Verne, allowing only one run and five hits in the 5-1 victory for the Bruins. She went on to start against #4 Redlands in game two of the series, allowing only four earned runs with two strikeouts in an upset 10-5 win.
Softball- Player - Student-Athlete of the Week
Makayla Noone I OF I George Fox | JR | Riverside, Calif. | John W. North
Noone started in all four games for the Bruins in a 2-2 week against La Verne and No. 4 Redlands. The junior was a standout 6-7 at the plate against those Top 5 Bulldogs, totaling three runs and two stolen bases in the series. For the weekend, Noone totaled eight hits (one of which was a triple) with a .533 batting average, with four runs scored and four stolen bases. The outfielder also had a 100% fielding percentage for the weekend.
