Davis & Swegle Named NWC Women’s Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week

The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Lacrosse for the week of February 17th through February 23rd.

Women’s Lacrosse- Offense- Student-Athlete of the Week
Lana Davis I A I George Fox | SR | Del Mar, Calif. | Santa Fe Christian 

Davis had one of the best games of her storied career, recording the eight-most points in a game all-time for the George Fox women's lacrosse team in a 23-1 win over Eastern Oregon. The senior had six goals on seven shots, tacking on four assists as well, to finish the game with a career-high 10 points. In addition to her offensive prowess, Davis had four ground balls and seven draw controls to help the Bruins begin the year with the win.

Swegle posted a team-high eight caused turnovers and chipped in seven ground balls to lead Lewis & Clark to a 2-0 start to the 2026 season. The junior opened the season with three caused turnovers and four ground balls in a 14-4 win over Pacific University. She added a career-high five caused turnovers and chipped in three ground balls in a 15-2 win over Pacific University. Swegle tacked on five goals and one assist on the week.
