Robman & Churchill Named NWC Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week

The Northwest Conference is proud to announce its Student-Athletes of the Week in Baseball for the week of February 10th through February 16th.

Baseball- Pitcher - Student-Athlete of the Week
Zach Robman I P I Puget Sound | SR | San Ramone, Calif. | California

Robman had a great outing against Redlands this weekend, picking up a save after pitching 3.1 innings. During his outing, he allowed no hits and no runs, all while striking out seven to close out the game. He was a key contributor in the Loggers' 12-4 game-three win over the Bulldogs, who made the SCIAC tournament last year. The Loggers went on to sweep Redlands, starting their season 4-0.

Churchill was lights out this weekend against Redlands, batting .462 over the four-game series. He got on base nine times, racking up 9 RBIs, 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and 3 walks. His clutch hitting helped the Logger's offense outscore the Bulldogs 52-15, including a 21-4 game on Sunday. Churchill led the team last year with 21 RBIs, and is over a third of the way there in four games. He's also first in the conference in slugging percentage, OPS, RBIs, and is second in home runs and runs scored, all while playing fewer games than the majority of the other top contenders.
